The Rev. Glenn Stone has come to St. Paul's in January 2002. Prior to his ministry at this church he was not only a parish priest in the Diocese of Quebec and the Diocese of Calgary but also chaplain to The Missions to Seafarers and chaplain with Corrections Canada. Glenn is a Canadian, and while he grew up in Toronto, he has lived in Quebec and New Brunswick and Alberta. What excites him about ministry is not only preaching but also pastoral care. He also likes to work with persons helping them to identify their gifts and ministries. In December 2003 Glenn also became the chaplain to the St. Clair Police Department in St. Clair on a volunteer basis. This is a new ministry for the police department and a new chaplaincy for Glenn to be involved in. |

Caryll Schaaf has been our parish secretary for the past 2-1/2 years. She comes to us with lots of experience as she worked as an office manager for 18 years for a CPA firm in the U.P. Her jobs include preparing the Sunday bulletins and any special bulletins that come up during the year, scheduling for those taking part in the worship services, publishing the Epistle every other month, answering the phone, and making visitors feel welcome. Her hours are 9:30 to 1:30 Monday through Thursday.. |
